Happy
Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful mothers in the world. I personally believe
that I have the best mother in the whole world. She has made me who I am. She
has helped me to become a strong, independent woman who has big dreams.
My
mother is a big reason that I want to be a teacher. She has always shown me how
important it is to have a good education. When I was growing up, school was not
easy for me. My mother always fought to make sure that I got the education that
I needed and that I had the help that I needed to do well. She got me the best
tutor in the world to teach me to read and always encouraged me to ask for help
no matter what.

| This is me when I was about two. I love this picture because it just looks like my mom is so happy to be with me. Also Belle is my favorite princess so I think it is cute. |
One
of my very favorite memories of my childhood is listening to my mother read to
me every night before I went to bed. She would read me the American Girl books.
She would read to me and I would learn so much about a world that was so
different than my own. She would cry and I learned how books were supposed to
make you feel.
My
Grammy has also played a huge role in my life. Lately she has been so focused
on telling me how proud she is of me. She always wants to know how school is
and what I am learning. She thinks that one day I will be teacher of the year
for my district. She pushes me to work my hardest and I intended to be teacher
of the year just as she expected.
I
am such a lucky girl and I hope that one day when I have children they feel
like they are lucky to have me and that I encourage them to dream big and make
them come try.
What
are your mom memories? I hope that you have been reading some amazing books and
you are dreaming big!
Keep
reading and making your dreams come true,
Ms. Cara
