More poetry is coming your way! I am loving these holiday poetry books by Jack Prelutsky. This one is particularly fun. It deals with first kisses (yuck) and making valentines. It talks about being afraid of not getting any treats. This book is called It's Valentines Day.
I think that these are perfect books to read during transition times. One poem between kids moving and getting to their seat. We have actually been reading these in my first grade class to practice fluency.
